Despite having standard clock speeds, the GeCube outperformed both the ASUS and PowerColor by a slight though consistent difference. For 3DMark, this was a 2 to 3% improvement in scores that is probably the result of its larger 512MB frame buffer. It goes to show that throwing more memory is not always the best solution. As you can see, the GeCube was still a long way from the table topping performance of the Radeon X1900 XT 512MB.
