Temperature Testing
With an active cooling unit, the PowerColor was naturally going to be cooler than the passively cooled MSI. The difference could be almost ten degrees Celsius, like for the memory modules. Despite the fact that these RAM chips were not cooled directly, the moving air generated by the fan helped them. Overall, the PowerColor Radeon X1650 XT more than equals the temperature of the GeForce 7600 GT in some areas but loses out in others, like its warmer core.
