The notebook’s left panel carries the following components (from left to right):
- 15-pin D-Sub connector
- Two USB ports
- Power connector for the external optical drive (the DVD-burner is connected with a special cable included into the kit)
- Microphone connector
- Headphones output
The notebook’s right panel offers the following:
- Two USB ports
- 4-pin IEEE1394 port (FireWire) marked as DV (i.e. for Digital Video equipment)
- Slider to enable/disable the wireless interfaces
- 26-pin ExpressCard/54 slot
- LAN port (RJ-45)
- Modem port (RJ-11)
- Power connector
The WLAN On/Off slider is duplicated with the Fn+F2 key combination.
