SuperPi and PCMark Vantage benchmarks so popular among computer enthusiasts give all the laurels to DDR3 SDRAM working at 1800MHz and 1500MHz frequencies. As we see, this memory can easily compete with any DDR2 SDRAM kit out there. However, please remember, that we had to overclock our test platform significantly and use high-performance expensive DDR3 memory kits for overclockers.
