Thermaltake DuOrb Review

Fist we will look at the stock idle temperatures. The Thermaltake DuOrb is neck and neck with the ZEROtherm NV-120, and well ahead of the stock Intel cooler by 15 degrees.

Under full load we are again mirroring the stock temps with the DuOrb and NV-120 still neck and neck, and again well under the stock Intel cooler by 20 degrees.

So let¡¯s turn up the heat and see how the DuOrb handles. With the Intel Q6600 overclocked 3.0GHz the DuOrb and the NV-120 are still neck and neck, with both still well ahead of the stock Intel cooler by 16 degrees.

With the Q6600 overclocked and under full load we can see a gap start to form between the coolers. The DuOrb falls just below the NV-120 by 3 degrees, but both coolers are a full 27 degrees ahead of the stock Intel cooler.
