VoodooPC launches the most powerful 3 pound carbon fiber notebook in the world

November 22, 2004 - CALGARY, ALBERTA - VoodooPC, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance personalized computer systems, today announced the launch of a new 3 pound carbon fiber notebook designed for mobile entertainment.

The Voodoo ENVY m:50 features full carbon fiber composite construction, a choice of Intel Pentium M processors, built in ENVY-G wireless with a high grade receiver, up to 100 gigabytes of hard drive space, and extensive battery options.

"As part of our launch of custom personalized PCs for both men and women, we created ENVY m:50," says Angela Lowe, VoodooPC. "The Voodoo ENVY m:50 is tiny enough to fit in a small attach?case, yet it provides an incredible screen designed for watching DVD videos and displaying intensive presentations and 3D Graphics."

ENVY m:50 was designed for business travellers looking for a notebook with more power than current lightweight notebooks. With styling to die for, and high end features such as an optional Pentium M 755 processor, optional 100 Gig hard drive, and ram upgrades to 2 GB, ENVY m:50 is a great alternative to standard boring lightweight notebooks. ENVY m:50 also features custom color and tattoo options designed for both men and women.

"We initially launched ENVY m:50 in small quantities on a pilot program for existing customers," said Rahul Sood, president & CTO of VoodooPC. "We were quite surprised at the demand for the notebook due to the size. After the creation of the carbon fiber composite chassis, it lightened the notebook to a little over 3 pounds, pretty insane for a notebook this powerful. The carbon fiber chassis combined with high grade receiver allows for wireless range longer than any notebook we've built to date."

VoodooPC is known for building some of the worlds finest computer systems. Voodoo ENVY is the leading brands of luxury notebooks in the world, garnering industry accolades from multiple publications. Voodoo ENVY m:50 features incredible industrial design, a lightweight carbon fiber chassis, a large keyboard, and limitless configurations.
