All of a sudden, it seems, your socket 478 Pentium 4 or your Athlon XP just isn't that cool any more. With 939 and 775 having been available for some time now, a lot of systems- many of which are only a year or two old- seem quite antiquated. What can you do about this?

You can hardly ever go wrong with a memory upgrade. If you are running just 512MB of memory or you are using value RAM, your system could probably use a shot in the arm.
