I think this is the first time that there has been more specifics about the release date of their dual core chips. With the P4 600 series faring pretty positively in reviews and some of Intel's lower end stuff being pretty reasonably priced already, I guess Intel is not too concerned about the success of the Athlon 64 which still does not seem like it is making too many inroads into the OEM sector unlike the Opterons.
