The progession of LCD display technology over the past few years has been impressive. In addition to technological advancement, LCDs are now the mainstay of the industry, both at home and in the workplace. CRTs definitely have a number of qualities which will ensure their survival for some time, but the focus has shifted to LCDs, and not without a good cause- the price of these displays are dropping and their performance is getting better ever day.
This progress can be seen in the Samsung 193P+. This monitor was first released as the 193P, a high-end 19" display. Though this display still has a comparatively innovative cabinet, the LCD panel is representative of technology from a few years ago, which is when it was brought to market. Samsung's designers recently reintroduced the 193P as the 193P+ which means a similar base but with an updated LCD panel. This review will be taking a look at the new display and seeing how well Samsung managed to update this hit product.
