Asustek Computer is about to release its new mainboard that will allow computer enthusiasts and gamers to use all premium technologies from Nvidia Corp., such as SLI physics and quad SLI, which should provide enhanced performance and visual quality in modern and upcoming games.

The new Asus P5N32-SLI Premium/Wi-Fi-AP mainboard is based on Nvidia nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition core-logic, has three PCI Express x16 slots, sports four slots for DDR2 memory modules (up to PC2-6400, DDR2 800MHz), features advanced 7.1 audio and 8-phase power design. The new mainboard supports Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Duo Extreme and other modern processors in LGA775 form-factor.

Asustek to Unveil “Gamers Dream?Mainboard

Two PCI Express x16 slots will allow end-users to install two GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics boards and build a system that features quad SLI technology, whereas the third PCI Express slot will allow to install another graphics board for physics effects calculation when games start to support Havok FX engine, which allows to compute physics using a graphics processing unit (GPU).
