All in all, Aigo's offering here is a tempting, feature rich one - Not only do you get music playback for your money, but also FM radio and recording abilities. The massive 20Gb of storage is nothing to be sniffed at either, and should be enough to hold more than enough music to take with you on your travels, holidays etc. You also won't be ashamed to be seen out and about with this player - Sure, it's no iPod, but its still a neat, sleek looking device.

Its a shame therefore that the biggest issue holding back this device isn't anything to do with the player itself, but rather the software that is required to use it to its fullest. Yes, the playlist editor is straightforward to use, but trying to load 20Gb worth of music to the player and then create a playlist for each album will literally take you eons - This means resorting to using drag-and-drop and the players file manager which, although acceptable to use, means you lose the best facets of the device's jukebox. If only third-party playlists were supported, the player would have been a far more joyous device to use.

But, if you put that gripe to one side, you are left with a very good player, with enough added functionality to make it stand out from the crowd. If you can put in the time to organise your music collection optimally on the device, then you have yourself a great piece of kit and many, many hours of listening pleasure.
