Asus Extreme N6800 Ultra/2DT Review
The industrial-sized cooling apparatus on every GeForce 6800 Ultra card shows that there's not a whole lot of frequency headroom left above the 425MHz default core speed.

439MHz core and 1170MHz memory represents a mediocre overclock from the card's 425/1100 stock speeds. That's the inherent problem in purchasing the fastest GPU from either NVIDIA or ATI. Technology and yields are already pushed to the limit, so we're not going to be seeing 50% air-cooled core overclocks in the near future for either GeForce 6800 Ultra or X850 XT PE.

On the flipside, it strengthens the EN6800 Ultra's position as single-card of choice in Chronicles of Riddick.

As Tesco is fond of saying, every little helps.
