Product Analysis Continued:
The controls for the two satellites and the subwoofer are mounted on the right hand satellite. This makes them convenient and easy to control. Additionally, you won?t have to climb under your desk to adjust the subwoofer volume. The rotary control is a nice touch, and the controller is well thought out.
The subwoofer houses all system connections. There are some nice touches, such as a headphone jack on the rear of the right satellite and auxiliary inputs in the form of a 3.5mm mini jack and RCA inputs. The power cord is hardwired into the subwoofer, so you will not have any power adapters to deal with. The system can be used in two, four or six speaker modes, with the flip of a switch. If you have a stereo soundcard you would have the "2/4" switch engaged as well. If you have a soundcard with front and rear outputs, but no center channel, you would also use the "2/4" setting. However, if you have a true 5.1 compatible soundcard you would use the "6" setting instead.
