The Tests: Overall System Performance - World Bench 5
PC World; WorldBench 5.0
WorldBench 5 runs on PCs using the Home, Professional, Media Center, and Tablet PC versions of Windows XP. Fifteen applications (counting the components of Office XP), make up the WorldBench 5 suite.
The overall score of Worldbench revealed that there was a one point difference separating our Gigabyte DS3 board from the Asrock board that it was up against. It is interesting to see the Asrock do so well against the Gigabyte, especially considering it is running at DDR2 667 and the Gigabyte is doing DDR2 800. Let's look at the individual test results.
Here in the first few sets of tests we see that the Gigabyte board actually outperforms or ties the Asrock board in every test. Both boards are extremely capable of performing well so far. Let's continue.
