Looking at the kit we can see that it includes four satellite speakers, a center channel, a subwoofer, and a few adapters. It is a standard 5.1 channel speakers system and it ended up seeming exactly like what one would expect from a kit at this price level. The design is very basic and somewhat underwhelming, but costs had to be kept to a minimum, which is why we see the plastic base, non-removable grills, and fixed speaker cables.

The satellite speakers are 8.4" x 3.2" x 5" and don't have very much to say in terms of their design. They will have to be relatively close to the subwoofer due to the limited length of the speaker cables, but they are small enough to be tucked away. Each satellite speaker has two 2" polished drivers in order to create clean, uniform sound. Logitech calls this technology FDD2, or Frequency Directed Dual Driver, and its goal is to improve sound quality by eliminated sound hotspots in a room. The only extra feature on the speaker is the base's ability to turn so that the speaker can be stood up or wall-mounted without changing any hardware.

The center channel is basically a satellite speaker placed on its side. It has the same simple design and the two drivers, but its base is actually a large clip. Using this clip it can attach itself to the top of almost any LCD monitor if you don't want it to sit on your desk. This is a simple tool, but it is very useful because it allows the center channel speaker to actually be directly in front of you, something which will aid the listening experience.
