Removing the Zero Degree from its packaging we were greeted with a spectacular view.
The Aerocool Zero Degree includes everything needed for a smooth installation. Brackets are included for all twelve drive locations as well as three 3.5?to 5.25?drive bay adaptors and even a printed quick start guide.
The front of the Zero Degree features a brushed aluminum door with a diamond cut effect on the edge. This isn’t your typical plastic Case door.
At the top of the Case are the Power and HD LEDs as well as the Power, Reset, 2xUSB and Front Port Audio connections. Ingeniuosly positioned so that even when the front Case door is closed they can be accessed.
The entire front of the Case features ventilation holes for water cooling aficionados or just someone looking for a Case with adequate ventilation.
The window on the side panel of the Zero Degree is UV active and features a huge 25 CM fan.
The rear of the Zero Degree allows for installation of multiple, different sized exhaust fans. The Power Supply mounts at the bottom the Case and there is mesh to allow adequate airflow to the Power Supply Unit.
Inside the spacious Zero Degree Case is a movable 120mm fan bracket also suitable for mounting a radiator to accommodate water cooling. Alternatively, there are ten 5.25?drive bays available with three sets of 3.5?to 5.25?adaptors included. Fan controllers, Hard Drives, DVD burners are not a problem in this Case, there is plenty of room.
Here is a side profile shot of the Zero Degree. While still a mid-tower Case there is plenty of room inside.
Inside the PCI slot covers aren’t the break-out ones we loathe. Mounts for dual exhaust fans can be seen here.
Two 3.5?Hard Drives can be installed in the tool-less drive bays seen here. Snap on the guides and slide the drive in until they click into place.
The brackets for the 5.25?drive bays are equally as simple. Just push the drive through the front of the Case, insert the bracket and twist to lock.
Let’s fire up the Zero Degree and see what she looks like!
