Results - Futuremark PCMark05
PCMark05 scores showed a much bigger contrast between the two boards than SYSmark 2004. As you can see, both boards were almost equal in CPU performance, but the Foxconn again showed weaker Memory subsystem performance. The tables were turned when it came to HDD performance though, since the G9657MA-8EKRS2H sports the more powerful ICH8R, compared to the ICH8 on the GA-965G-DS3. Due to the slightly better graphics performance of the newer drivers, the Foxconn also had a 3% advantage over the Gigabyte in the overall System tests.
