The satellites feature special clamps for the cable connecting the right and left speaker. The bundle includes a special 2-meter long cable, which should be quite enough for setting up panoramic sound system.

At the front panel of the right satellite there is a Power On button with a LED indicator beneath it. Then comes the SFX MODE equalizer switch, two rotating handles for BASS and TREMBLE adjustment and the Volume control. The three rotating handles feature medium position that can be found by touch.

As we see, besides the common two handles for the BASS and TREMBLE, iDome DS 500 also has a switch for the SFX MODE equalizer settings. There is a special microchip aka ?uGuru chip?that is responsible for storing the presets. The user can select one of the following modes: Normal, Game, Music, Movie, Rock and Jazz. All the electronics, including the power supply unit, is inside the right satellite casing. The rear panel of the right satellite carries all connectors and some controls. There are analogue ins and outs in RCA form-factor (they are covered with rubber caps during transportation), digital optical in and out and a three-pin power connector typical of computer hardware. As you may have already guessed, the output connectors are designed for the subwoofer and the connection schematics is described in detail in the user manual as well as on Abit web-site.
