Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure stealth video gamebased on DC Comics' Batman for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and MicrosoftWindows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by EidosInteractive in conjunction with Warner Bros.
For our testing we set everything as high as it would go, except for Physx and NVIDIA Multi Sample Anti-Aliasing.
Benchmark Results: The Radeon HD 5870 + 5850 in mixed CrossFire do very well in Batman: Arkham Asylum as you can see from the benchmark results above. The mixed CrossFire setup ties or does slightly better than a pair of Radeon HD 5850 video cards in CrossFire.
It should benoted that even with in Batman: Arkham Asylum graphics cards running NVIDIA SLI were tested with PhysX turned OFF and ON in the NVIDIA Control Panel. This was done as even though you disable PhysX in the game the cards were still running it. The only way to make sure PhysX was disabled during game testing Batman: Arkham Asylum was disabling the feature in the Control Panel You can see how big of a difference it makes in performance.
