GT 220 Overclocking
When it comes to overclocking, the EVGA GeForce GT 220 SSC edition is already factory overclocked, but wewanted even more performance. The SSC version of the EVGAGeForce GT 220 features a 46MHz higher core clock and a 98MHz higher shader clock frequency than a standardclocked card. We wanted to push the card even harder, so we fired up EVGA's Precision overclocking utility and pushed the card even harder.
The EVGA Precision overclockingutility gives you the ability to overclock the core, shader and memory clock frequencies and to manually adjust the fan to any speed your little heart desires. The only thing it doesn't do is give you the ability to adjust the voltages on the video cards!
We pushed the limitsof the card and found the highest that wecould get it was 765MHz on the core with the shaders locked at1662MHz. This blows away a dead stock GeForce GT 220, so these cards have room for overclocking left in them.
