Milton Keynes, UK ?22 November 2004: ASUSTeK Computer Inc (ASUS) today launches the Extreme AX700 graphics card series providing the best visual experience of any graphics cards on the market. Rick Bergman, Senior Vice President, Marketing, General Manager, Desktop, ATI Technologies Inc. explains, ?The introduction of the EAX700 Series, powered by ATI's RADEON VPU, delivers the world's best PCI Express graphics solutions and enables customers to experience the full benefits of this exciting technology.

Renowned for being first to market with innovative best-of-breed technology, ASUS?latest graphics card also incorporates a number of innovative features that will enhance a user's experience.

Interact With Fellow Gamers

ASUS?GameFace Live is the world's first multi-player, video/audio communication solution for DirectX PC gaming. It enables up to eight players to be simultaneously connected allowing them to see and talk with their teammates or the competitors during gaming.

Boost GPU Power When You Need It Most

ASUS?HyperDrive technology provides three ways to dynamically boost graphics card power. Firstly, it detects 3D programs and automatically speeds up VPU clock to provide the best video effects. In CPU mode, Hyperdrive also raises VPU running speed to share computing load when CPU resource is pushed to the limit. Finally, a temperature mode also monitors overclocks depending on the system temperature in order to strike a balance between performance and hardware protection.

Fast Setting Adjustment In Front Of Your Eyes

New functionality on the AX700 allows users to adjust general settings, such as brightness and contrast levels, VR settings or extra light settings while watching movies or playing 3D games. ASUS?OnScreenDisplay technology means users need never stop the movie or game to adjust their settings.

ASUS?UK Managing Director, Allen Yen explains, ?Our close working relationships with some of the leading technology innovators enables ASUS to be the first to bring new technologies to the user. More than this, however, our solutions offer end-users with industry leading performance because we work hand in glove with the likes of ATI Technologies.?br />
