Tis the season to giveI usually do not cover current events here but since my position sometimes affords me the luxury of being able to communicate to a large audience, I'll take advantage of it once in a while. I'm sure pretty much everyone has seen the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami damage over in Asia (and even Africa). There have been a lot of numbers bandied about regarding the number of lives lost but the focus should be on the number of lives that can be saved with help from those who are more fortunate. I know that the holiday season sometimes puts a financial strain on people at times but if you have a few extra bucks that you can spare, toss it in the direction of the Red Cross or World Vision or whatever your humanitarian organization of choice is.
