Tul and Leadtek Research both recorded historically high graphics card shipments in December, exceeding 400,000 and 300,000 units, respectively. Meanwhile, Asustek Computer, Micro-Star International (MSI) and Gigabyte Technology also reported solid shipments in December.

With the availability of low-priced PCIe cards expected to start to increase early this year, Tul and Leadtek expect their shipments of graphics cards to remain high at one million and 700,000 units, respectively, in the first quarter, according to sources at the two makers.
