System builders will get a crack at a couple new products

We heard from NVIDIA yesterday about a couple of new products that will likely be system builder options only - the 6600 AGP and the 6800LE.?

GeForce 6600 AGP
GeForce 6600 AGP brings 6 Series features such as SM3.0, PureVideo, and Superscalar architecture to AGP mainstream, and crushes the comparable Radeon 9600 XT GPUs in performance.

Specs:

      ?font face="Courier New">       300MHz core
?font face="Courier New">       memory decided by AIC maker (250-275MHz range)
      ?font face="Courier New">       8 shader pipelines
      ?font face="Courier New">       3 vertex units
      ?font face="Courier New">       128-bit memory interface
      ?font face="Courier New">       PureVideo Technology

Pricing:?$149-$199 depending on the configuration

GeForce 6800 LE PCI Express
GeForce 6800 LE brings the 6800 brand and feature set to even lower price points.

Specs:

      ?font face="Courier New">       325 MHz core
      ?font face="Courier New">       300 MHz memory
      ?font face="Courier New">       8 shader pipelines
      ?font face="Courier New">       4 vertex units
      ?font face="Courier New">       256-bit memory interface
      ?font face="Courier New">       PureVideo Technology
?font face="Courier New">       Full SLI support

Pricing: $229 - $279 depending on the configuration

We determined that 6600 non-GT products will be around the same speed as ATI 9600XTs during our preview of the 6600GT.?If it does really creep up towards the 200$ range, we highly recommend a 6600GT instead as it is much faster (40% on the core clock alone).?The 6800LE is bit of a strange product too seeing as how during our evaluation of the BFG's 6600GT AGP, it was already nipping at the heels of a 12 pipe 6800.?It does have the wider bus and an extra vertex unit over the 6600GT so it may turn some heads.?
