In the end of 2004, in the middle of December, we hosted a poll on our site, where you, our readers, could give your votes for the companies, which have contributed best of all to the development and growth of the hardware and IT industry throughout the past year. This kind of annual poll has already become traditional for our site. It is the second time we carried it out. The results of the Best of 2003 Reader's Choice Award Poll are available here.

The Best of 2004: Readers Choice Awards

This year, we had a much bigger event. We added a few more award categories and our readers participated much more actively in the voting sessions. This year we already had over 20,000 poll participants, which is twice as much as last year.

Despite this fact, our readers were pretty unanimous in determining which of the nominated companies deserve the valuable awards. In most categories the winner managed to get far ahead of the competitors in the percentage of votes received.

So, let's take a look at the companies nominated for the 12 prestigious annual ?awards and the winners, of course.
