With its takeMS MEM-P3, Memorysolution is presenting its functional and shapely MP3 player at the 2005 CeBIT 2005. The MEM-P3 can also be used as a voice recorder and as a USB data storage device.

Germany, Breisach/Hanover, March 3, 2005 - With its takeMS MEM-P3, Memorysolution, one of the leading European memory specialists, will introduce its multi-purpose solution for contemporary music enjoyment and data transport at the CeBIT. The MEM-P3 is an easy to use and elegant MP3 player. It can also play WMA, ASF, WAV and WMV files. The large, high resolution 128x32 pixel FSTN LCD display, which is easy to read at night or in the dark thanks to the blue background lighting, makes it a piece of cake to find and search for songs or music folders. And, because its display can handle any language, international songs are guaranteed to appear correctly.

To make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy your music, you can not only store music files in any folder with the MEM-P3, you can also playback songs either by title or as a folder, individually or in a loop and, of course, randomly from all files. Playback can also be optimized based on music type. The following modes are available to provide optimum sound: normal, rock, pop, classical, soft, jazz and bass.

The MEM-P3 has a USB 2.0 connection that makes fast transfer rates possible. Data is read at a rate of 1 MB per second and written back at 800 kB per second. The MEM-P3 can also be used as a USB storage medium with no problem because there are no limits to the file formats that can be stored. The MEM-P3 does not need a driver with Windows ME and higher, Linux Kernel 2.4.2 and higher and MacOS Version 9.0 and higher. A driver CD for USB use is supplied for Windows 98.

Another highlight is the voice recording feature. With the MEM-P3 you always have your personal dictation device on hand. Recordings can be made with varying sound qualities so that space is not unnecessarily taken up by short notes. Up to 99 speech recordings fit in a folder.

"The MEM-P3 is a perfect example of how entertainment electronics and modern computer technology have joined forces," says Edmund D?gele, Managing Director of Memorysolution. "It gives the user a lot of versatility in how it can be used without being limited by size, design or weight. Another product that is true to our company motto: enjoy the experience."

A single AAA battery operates the MEM-P3. A battery status display with nine different levels lets you know how much of the batteries have been used up at any time.

The MEM-P3 is now available at the following recommended retail prices:
128 MB - EUR 39,00 / 256 MB - EUR 52,00 / 512 MB - EUR 70,00 / 1 GB - EUR 99,00 (plus VAT)
