Pez moves from candy to digital music

In a clash of cultures, Pez is going from candy distribution to MP3 playing in its plastic packaging.?

Based on Lincoln West's plans, which were first detailed Thursday in a blog posted to the company's Web site, the Pez MP3 will arrive sometime this summer. The gadget will be built around a Samsung chip and will have 512MB capacity, as well as an LCD screen. The device will look exactly like a traditional Pez dispenser from at least two sides and will come in a variety of colors

Is this an impending sign of how MP3 players have moved from geek gadgets to commodity items? It might be time to dust off those Alf pogs and Alf Pez dispensers so that they can be Ebayed off this summer.
