This device designed for standard 3.5?and 5.25?drive bays supports eight different types of flash media: Smart Media, Secure Digital, MultiMedia, Sony Memory Stick, Sony Memory Stick Pro, both types of Compact Flash, IBM Microdrive and a slot for next generation of SD. Four flash memory slots offer simultaneous read and write capabilities, bootable feature, and hot-swapping.

?The Soyo BayOne XP is a high quality card reader. It's an internal solution which means less clutter on your table. Soyo paid attention to the small details that makes the BayOne XP really enjoyable to own and use. They included black and silver bezels in addition to the standard beige bezel so that we won't have to worry about matching it with the color of the case (which is a good thing). They also covered the USB cable in a nice wire mesh sleeve so that it won't look ugly for those of us who have windowed cases. The BayOne XP also has an activity light to show when power is running through it or when a card is inserted as well as whenever there's activity. The only gripe I could possibly think off is the 5.25?bay adapter as it only comes in beige. But overall, I am very happy with this card reader,?concludes Adrian's Rojak Pot.
