Ultra proudly state that, rather than misleading peak outputs good only for short periods of time, their X-connect PSU is rated for continuous output at the rated 500 Watt limit. This is rather like just leaving out the peak rating and marketing a power supply under its maximum stable output, which is what all PSU manufacturers should do anyway.

28 Amps on the +12V line is ample for just about anyone, but it's by no means the highest you'll encounter. 20 and 32 Amps on the combined +5V and +3.3V rails respectively is generous.

If you prefer discrete 3.3 and 5V rails and/or dual 12V rails you're out of luck.
