Without a doubt the HIS Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo is certainly the best X700 product that I have had the pleasure of testing. There are so many impressive aspects of this product that help this Radeon X700 Pro sell itself, none though are more so than its uniqueness. Amongst the endless amount of clones out there this Radeon X700 Pro graphics card stands out as something different, something special and something more! Clearly the unique IceQ Turbo heatsink has much to do with the unique appearance on this Radeon X700 Pro solution.
The Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo is an excellent product because HIS made sure they did everything right. They did this by not only making sure their Radeon X700 Pro was cooled like no other, but they also made it look like no other X700 Pro. Furthermore, HIS included their own overclocking software that gives the user the freedom to customize their Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo. The whole package is exceptional and there is nothing HIS have skimped on with this product.
Performance wise the Radeon X700 Pro makes for an impressive sub $200 graphics card. The X700 series provides the perfect middle ground between the X600 and X800 series. In the majority of the testing, the Radeon X700 Pro slaughtered the Radeon X600XT. However, at the same time it was always just behind the GeForce 6600 GT which also falls under the same price range. Nevertheless, the cooling setup and design of the HIS Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo made it as worthy as any GeForce 6600 GT product.
| The Radeon X700 series in my opinion is far more impressive than the Radeon X600 series. The X600 graphics cards were overpriced Radeon 9600XT graphics cards for the PCIe bus. The Radeon X700 Pro is a cut down version of current generation technology, making it a much better product. There is little at fault when it comes to the HIS Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo and as long as users know the iTURBO software has to be installed for maximum performance, there are no faults. Overall, for $200 US the HIS Radeon X700 Pro IceQ Turbo is easily the best value PCI Express solution reviewed to date. |
