Inno3D GeForce 6800 GS Review

Call of Duty 2 is one of the most graphics demanding game and it simply puts most mid-range graphics cards to shame, including the 6600GT. To be short, the X800XL was still better in this game, provided if AA and AF were disabled. The 6800GS takes back the lead when AA and AF were enabled, which simply puts the X800XL to shame. To our surprise, the Inno3D 6800GS SLI pair seems to have trouble keeping up with the X800XL. We later found that the game offers an option to enable SLI optimization in the game settings. Let?s see how well the Inno3D 6800GS SLI pair performed with SLI optimization enabled in COD2.

Looks like the SLI optimization really worked. The Inno3D 6800GS SLI pair performed close to 60FPS at low resolution without AA enabled and gave us an average of 42FPS at high resolution with 4xAA enabled. If you are running a SLI system, we strongly suggest enabling the in-game setting and enable SLI optimization wherever possible.
