AVerMedia Technologies Inc., the world-leading manufacturer of digital multimedia products, is set to unveil an array of cutting edge products at CeBIT 2005. The firm will be using the Hannover-based event to showcase the latest in PC-TV Tuner technology.

Visitors to CeBIT will be the first to sample several revolutionary new products being introduced into AVerMedia's award winning product portfolio and will be privy to AVerMedia's superior product roadmap for 2005/2006.

Introductions to AVerMedia's product roadmap include MCE compliant TV Tuner products that allow users to turn their PC into a media center and DVB-T solutions that allow users to not only turn any PC or compliant screen into a TV but to receive more channels than ever before and watch the latest TV programs in digital quality via a high quality digital antennae.

DVB-T Solutions:
Having recently been the first computer peripherals manufacturer to be recognised for the Digital Switchover Scheme - a UK government recognition of approved DVB product manufacturers, subsequent industry leading products are being integrated into AVerMedia's inspired product portfolio all of which will be available to view at CeBIT:

A800 - AVerTV DVB-T USB2.0:
The new AVerTV DVB-T USB 2.0 is a high quality TV Tuner which connects Digital TV with a PC or Notebook, allowing users to watch 'free-to-air' digital terrestrial television channels with no subscription to pay. The DVB-T USB 2.0 is the first USB 2.0 TV Tuner on the market to support HDTV (1080i) ensuring users are delivered a high-quality, crisp picture standard and better sound quality.

MCE Solutions:
Recognising the rapid convergence between PC and consumer electronics technologies, AVerMedia is committed to playing a lead role in the PC-TV convergence technology space and have designed a new range of Media Center Edition 2005 compatible TV Tuner cards that bring personal computing capabilities into the digital home.

AverTV PVR USB - M038:
The M038 is a TV Tuner solution for a Media Center Edition based notebook or PC. A portable TV Tuner Box with USB 2.0 interface, featuring a Hardware MPEG-II encoder to minimize the load on a CPU, the MO38 allows users to watch, record, capture and playback TV programs and FM Radio turning a PC/Notebook into a personal video entertainment system.

Hybrid TV Tuner Card - A16A:
Users can experience the newest features of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with the new A16A, a hybrid TV Tuner card that allows users to receive free to air digital terrestrial and analogue TV Programs as well as digital radio broadcasts and FM radio.
