Advanced Micro Devices decided to remind about itself to the crowd near Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, heading to the Intel Developer Forum in a rather extravagant way: by writing ?AMD Turion 64 Mobility?in the sky.
AMD traditionally does not organize any world-class gatherings of developers, analysts and journalists, but usually has some interesting products to show during Intel's main Developer Forums in Spring and Fall. This time the world's second largest maker of x86 microprocessors decided to attract attention to its forthcoming AMD Turion 64 chips, though, the firm is also reported to demonstrate some of its dual-core products in San Francisco as well.
