Winning Apple over is an important victory especially with their image as a leader in content creation but I think the computer industry really needs a hard look at the current DVD situation and who produces the majority of the material - it definitely is not the computer sector; for whatever reason it still seems like the preferred method of distributing games is through 5 CDs instead of a single DVD. It is movies and console games that are driving the demand for DVDs and while Sony has half that equation worked out with the PS3, the Hollywood factor is arguably just as important as optical media still has the perception of being movies more than games in my eyes.?Article Link: Apple to Support Blu-Ray
