The eight companies were: Abit Computer, Asustek Computer, Biostar Microtech International, Diamond Flower Electric Instrument (DFI), Epox Computer, Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry), Gigabyte Technology and Micro-Star International (MSI). Model names, such as the Asus P5ND2-SLI and Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Royal were also mentioned.
Hopefully NVIDIA will be able to produce the chips in sufficient quantities as I think even they were a bit surprised at the popularity on the AMD side as we've heard that allocation is a bit tight.
