Couple of tid bits from the AMD side today, Socket 754 Sempron pricing may be cut by as much as 15% in early May as reported by DigiTimes. For those who are looking for a cheap upgrade solution and are unconvinced by the razzle dazzle of 64-bit extensions, this may be worth the wait especially with 754 board pricing bottoming out as well.?AMD's plan was to phase out Socket-A soon but I guess strong demand may keep them around for a while yet.
