From the look of things the G5 is just in time to line up for competition with the new Razer Copperhead at the same resolution which was announced within the last week.
Next up is the G7, the next generation in the cordless laser mouse field. As many know the MX1000 suffered in more hardcore gaming situations because of mouse lag from picking up the mouse during movement. Hopefully the G7 will solve that problem.

Seems like with all these introductions Logitech really does plan to get very serious about the gaming sector of the market. Personally I look forward to the results from the G5 and G15 the most as I'm not much of a wireless gamer but I do hope that the G7 can deliver to users what the MX1000 didn't get to do the last time around.
