Fujitsu Siemens Computers and VoodooPC Expected to Launch High-Performance Notebook PCs Based on Powerful AMD64 Technology SUNNYVALE, CALIF.-August 16, 2005-AMD (NYSE: AMD) today has achieved yet another benchmark in 64-bit mobile computing with the introduction of the Mobile AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor 4000+ for high-performance, full-size notebook computers.
Based on the award-winning AMD64 technology, this new mobile processor enables a powerful computing experience in both 32-bit and 64-bit environments. The Mobile AMD Athlon 64 processor 4000+ also offers Enhanced Virus Protection (EVP), an advanced security feature designed to prevent the spread of certain malicious viruses.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers plans to incorporate the Mobile AMD Athlon 64 processor 4000+ into a new AMILO A1667G notebook, which is expected to be available next month throughout Europe.
