As sales of digital music players are accelerating more and more manufacturers tend to offer something for this market. Alienware, a maker of high-performance personal computers, has been selling players from companies like Archos or Creative Labs for some time now, but for this holiday season the company is going to offer its own MP3 player called CE-IV (Close Encounters-Fourth Kind).

Alienware's new line of CE-IV digital audio players will initially include 512MB and 1GB versions. Each player will be equipped with radio, memory slot for additional flash, ID3-compatible LCD screen showing artist and track info, multi-preset equalizer that can enhance bass and other necessary capabilities. The main attitude of CE-IV music player is its body designed after aliens and spaceships.
