We'll be fragging our way through the All Hallow's Eve weekend, and people will go home with some great prizes to boot.Don't forget that this weekend, We and NCIX are hosting a 100 man lan party in downtown Vancouver, BC, at the Century Plaza Hotel. We're hoping to make this event a success, those of you from BC and even Washington and Alberta should consider coming down to join us.
This event will feature prizes for Counterstrike 1.6, Counterstrike: Source, UT 2004, and Warcraft 3.
There will also be PLENTY of other door prizes including coolers, high end OCZ RAM, and a full system featuring an Intel Pentium 840D. That's right, this full system will be a random draw door prize that all participants have a chance of winning! So even if you aren't a quick trigger CS guru or a master RTS player you have a chance of winning something great.
Those who come in costume will also get a chance to win an OCZ Modstream 520W PSU. And of course all participants will also get a $50 gift certificate off a purchase of $500 or more from NCIX.
Aside from that, there'll be swag from We and NCIX so nobody goes home empty handed!
We've already got a myriad of people wanting to play games ranging from the latest and greatest (Battlefield 2 anyone?) to great classics like Diablo 2, Quake 2, or even Quake 1 so visit our Neolan site and check this event out. Don't forget this is also a social event, come meet other local gamers, say Hi to Wolfwood or myself, and just hang out playing consoles or having a go at a friendly game of Texas Hold'em and other cardgames.
Don't forget we also plan to have an SLI 7800GTX system and an ATI 1800XT system on site so that people can check out image quality, gameplay, and performance of their favourite games on the latest and greatest video cards. Since the X1800XT isn't even available yet this is a great chance to preview this thing.
