The Southbridge area includes the Southbridge with 4 SATA ports above it, and 3 PATA connectors as well as the floppy connector to the far edge of the board. The SATA RAID ports are courtesy of the VIA Southbridge and the Promise SATA RAID controller located above them with a sticker. The bios chipset, battery, and diagnostic LED are on the right of the Southbridge.

Soltek includes a typical 1 AGP and 5 PCI layout for the slots. Near the bottom of the AGP slot is the VIA Firewire chip. The red connector for an external Firewire port is below it. Below the first PCI slot is the VIA Gigabit Ethernet controller.
