Bios

The main screen of the Bios has nothing special, as usual, the same as other motherboard Bios screens. But, by pressing the F1, another option will pop up which is the Advanced Chipset Features.

The Standard CMOS features is to adjust the date and time. You can leave the other options as default.

Next, go to the Advanced BIOS Features sub-menu. In here, you can set the Hard Disk Boot Priority and the Priority of the boot devices. Beside that, the HDD S.M.A.R.T can be set to enable or disable.

The Bios of the GA-K8NS-939 is almost the same as other GIGABYTE motherboards, where you need to press F1 to enter the Advance Chipset Features screen. I am so surprised that the AGP Aperture Size can be set up to 512MB. The DDR Timing can be set to AUTO or MANUAL. The Max MemClock can be set from 100,133,166 and 200MHz. If you want to run it on 1:1 ratio, then you should set it to 200MHz with DDR400 memory module.

About the Integrated Peripherals, you can set the onboard LAN, onboard audio and others iems:- enable or disable.
