Benchmarks I

Starting off, as always, with a look at bandwidth and latency analysis.

ASUS P5AD2-E Premium

Around 4.7GB/s is what's expected with a 200MHz FSB Intel CPU and memory run asynchronously at 266MHz. Nothing untoward here.

ASUS P5AD2-E Premium

Latency is a touch better on ASUS' board, no doubt helped by a slightly faster clock and memory speed.

ASUS P5AD2-E Premium

The upshot and latency and bandwidth analysis is a Pifast time that's almost a second quicker than a reference 925XE's but one that's 6.5s slower than an AMD Athlon 64 3800's. Food for thought.
