Thermaltake Soprano Review

Conclusion

After spending some time with the Thermaltake Soprano I was happy with its performance. The case is not the fanciest out there but is not exactly "no-frills". Thermaltake has reached a nice mix of style/substance and price/performance. This case really reminds me of CoolerMaster's Cavalier 3, which is about the same price and even looks similar.

If you are looking for a mid-priced case with calm styling this could be the one for you. It is not the cheapest steel case out there but considering that the Soprano comes with case fans, a nice looking bezel, and toolless drive installation a lot of consumers are going to be happy with it. If you are looking for something similar but with some aluminum you can check out Thermaltake's Tsunami, which is very similar to this one which is all aluminum and sells for about $120.00

Tenor (+)
- 120mm fans cut down on noise
- Reasonable price
- Looks nice

Alto (-)
- Aluminum would be nice
- Flimsy plastic bezel
- No toolless installation
