Before we test the system, we disable all start-up items that may hinder the performance scores. We then defragment our drives to ensure top most performance. We test the motherboard at stock speeds and manually set the motherboard to 200MHz wherever possible. The system settings are checked via CPU-Z to make sure that all settings are reportedly intact before we begin testing. V-Sync is turned off throughout our testing. We only test games at No AA/No AF with 1024x768 screen resolution. The exception to this rule is Aquamark3, which is standard run at No AA/4xAF. All tests are run three times before we average out the final score. The motherboard is equipped with a latest BIOS release (not Beta) and latest chipset drivers to ensure the best performance. The motherboard is set to Auto or Stock performance instead of Turbo or other settings that may skew the comparisons. If you have other questions about our testing, feel free to contact us.
