Even though the 6800U allowed higher memory overclock, it was still not sufficient to overtake the already powerful X850XT. However, the case is different in Doom 3 as the 6800U runs close to 90 fps. No matter what, both cards showed exceptional overclocking results in each game we played. Frame rates improved vastly and the overall game play was smoother. But if you are into benchmarking, the X850XT is the way to go. Oh yeah?if you?re into SLi benchmarking, the 6800U is the way to go?but that?s another story.
