Results - Doom 3 (DirectX 9 Benchmark)
The XFX GeForce 6800 GS XXX Edition quickly stamped its superior frequencies over the rest of the cards in the Doom 3 benchmark. The difference the increased clock speeds gave was again an average 12% boost in the performance numbers. Obviously at the lower settings, it is probably not that important whether you get 100 or 105 frames per second. Hence, to put the XXX Edition to good use, we recommend a more adventurous setting like 1600 x 1200 with anti-aliasing enabled. From the looks of it, the XFX card should be able to cope well even at these levels and that is saying a lot.
