Overclocking
Going by the number of graphic cards overclocked by default in XFX's product lineup, it is clear that the vendor is focusing on the enthusiast market. Naturally, we had higher expectations than usual when it came to overclocking the XFX GeForce 6800 GS XXX Edition. The result was actually quite encouraging as the XFX managed to top the previous overclock achieved by the MSI GeForce 6800 GS, reaching 520MHz for core clock and 1250MHz DDR speeds. It had a slight 5% advantage over the MSI and an overall 11% lead over its own already overclocked default settings. This gave the XXX Edition the lead in the chart below.
