LONDON ?MARCH 4TH, 2005 ?NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), a worldwide leader in graphics and digital media processors, today announced that a number of its partners and customers were honoured by their industry peers with Academy Awards? Among these is Sony Pictures Imageworks, whose work on Spider-Man 2 brought home the Oscar?for Achievement in Visual Effects.

The NVIDIA Digital Film Group works closely with customers to help them leverage their film effects and animation pipelines and take advantage of the hardware and software used in digital content creation, ultimately resulting in the stunning imagery found in these films. NVIDIA Quadro?FX graphics solutions form the basis for the innovative production processes that enable such remarkable and award-winning storytelling in studios like Sony Pictures Imageworks.
