Radeon?Xpress 200 provides broad support for the AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processors

MARKHAM, ON/ Munich, Germany - June 1, 2005 - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX: ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT) today announced broad platform support for the new AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 dual-core processor with its Radeon?Xpress 200 platform technology. Built from the ground up with flexibility and scalability in mind, Radeon Xpress 200 offers full support for AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors, lending itself to maximum end-user investment protection. With the broadest portfolio of AMD DirectX 9 PCI Express chipsets, Radeon Xpress 200 addresses the needs of every audience - from entry-level to enthusiast-class.

Additionally, ATI's recently launched dual-slot Radeon Xpress 200 CrossFire(tm) Edition platform supports both dual-GPU and dual-core configurations for unprecedented performance and blistering-fast visuals; making it the ideal solution for gaming and multimedia enthusiasts alike.
